Security & Fraud Awareness
Keeping your funds secure is our priority. Here's how Aetas Global safeguards your money, and how to defend yourself against the payment scams that target international transfers.
How We Protect Your Funds
Aetas Global never holds your funds. Your money is held in segregated client accounts by our FCA-authorised partners, Sciopay Ltd and Ebury Partners UK Limited.
Payment and FX services are provided by Sciopay Ltd (FRN 927951) and Ebury Partners UK Limited (FRN 900797), both authorised and regulated by the FCA. Aetas Global acts as an introducer.
All receiving accounts and counterparties are verified under anti-money-laundering and compliance checks before any transfer is released.
Red Flags
Fraudsters create false urgency, "the rate is moving, transfer now." A genuine specialist will never rush you past your own checks.
A last-minute email or call claiming our receiving account has changed is a classic scam. Always verify any change by calling your known specialist on a known number.
Aetas Global only ever asks you to send funds to our own segregated client accounts, never to a private individual.
Check sender email addresses closely. Fraudsters spoof domains with subtle misspellings. When in doubt, do not reply, call us.
Stay Safe
Confirm the receiving account and amount with your known specialist, never trust a new instruction at face value.
If anything changes or feels urgent, call the number you were given at registration, not one in an email or message.
Once verified, release the funds. A few minutes of checking can prevent a loss that cannot be reversed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my funds protected with Aetas Global?
Yes. Aetas Global Ltd introduces clients to our regulated partners, Sciopay Ltd (FCA Authorised Payment Institution, FRN 927951) and Ebury Partners UK Limited (FCA Authorised EMI, FRN 900797). Your funds are held in segregated accounts by these providers. Aetas Global is not regulated by the FCA and never holds or has access to your money.
What is APP fraud and how do I avoid it?
Authorised Push Payment (APP) fraud is when a scammer tricks you into willingly sending money to their account, often by impersonating a trusted party or claiming bank details have changed. Verify any payment-instruction change by calling your known specialist on a number you already hold, never one provided in the suspect message.
How do I verify a request from Aetas Global?
If you receive any request to change payment details or act urgently, stop and call your dedicated specialist directly on the number you were given when you registered. We will never object to you verifying a request, we encourage it.
What should I do if I suspect fraud?
Stop the transfer if it has not yet been sent. If funds have already moved, contact your bank immediately to attempt a recall, then report to Action Fraud (UK) and notify us. The faster you act, the better the chance of recovery.
If something feels wrong, stop and contact your specialist before sending. A few minutes of verification is the most effective protection against transfer fraud.
